We had a fantastic guide (Eli) who informed us with all necessary details not only in Masada but all the time on the way as well as in Kali (Dead Sea - where we stayed nearly two hours). The tour guide, Nili, was quite knowledgeable about the subject matter and presented the information well. Her English was good and she easily went back in forth from English to Spanish. She and the bus driver made some changes to our itinerary in order to avoid some of the crowds but it is difficult nevertheless to avoid all the tours coming through such an exciting area. Despite all these crowds, Nili was able to keep track of us while allowing us time off on our own. The swim in the Dead Sea and the visit to Masada were great. The stop at Ahava was a mad house and we could have done with out it allowing us more time at Masada which we had to cut short because it was getting late."

Not sure if I'm spelling that right. He was very entertaining, funny, and informative. He guided us through the walking tour by holding up an umbrella and was a very good shepherd. The tour itself was amazing, one I will never forget. I felt like he gave a good balance between Jewish, Muslim, and Christian themes. Even though I am Christian I found it interesting to hear how all of the different beliefs live together in Jerusalem and all of Israel."

  "A terrific tour! 44 people, which was kind of large but it didnt matter. We left the bus meeting point in Tel Aviv about 8am, traveled to Jerusalem to pick up the rest of the 44 tourists and headed to Masada with a brief stop at the Dead Sea to drop off a few people who were spending the day at the spa there. The tour started about 10am on the bus with Haya, our guide, pointing out sites from the well-airconditioned bus along the way speaking in both English & Spanish effortlessly. Don't miss Masada, which actually takes up most of the day. An amazing historical/religious story. It's helpful to google Masada to get the basic theme of the place so that when you're there it all makes better sense. After an awesome cable car ride to the top of the mountain, be prepared to walk & ascend in the heat, but it's a fabulous, well-thought-out tour w/Haya, an older woman with amazing stamina, who was incredibly knowledgeable. The tour lasts about 2 and a half hours. It was hot but well worth it. At the end, we had an hour to buy a delicious, reasonably priced lunch in the cafeteria and you could visit the gift shop if you wanted.
  Then,on to the Dead Sea. INCREDIBLE! Diving thru the desert was astounding. Haya pointed out all the sites along the way: Bedouins living along the sides of the road, camels, kibbutzim, the site of the Dead Sea scrolls, King Solomon's mines, and so much more. A stop at the Ahava cosmetics factory (45 mins) was worth it. I got a lot of gift shopping done. Once we got to the Sea we had about 2 hours which was plenty of time for the experience. We changed into bathing suits (don't wear your best one!) and went in the Sea (you can't stay in more than 10 minutes at a time because your skin starts to tingle!), rubbed the mineral-rich black mud on our bodies, rinsed again/floated some more in the Sea and showered either on the beach or in the changing cabanas. Rent a towel as suggested because it will get soiled fromt the salt & mud. We wrapped the trip & headed back about 4:30pm. A GREAT DAY!"

Lea, la guía, no tiene tamaño para la fuerza que transmite con la historia, la geografía o la política de cada lugar. Recomiendo tanto la visita a estos lugares como la empresa.
