SOUTHERN GEMS - 3 DAYS

1 DAY:

Full day tour will start with picking up participants from their hotels. Will continue south to Masada and Dead Sea. After will transfer you to Eilat. Overnight in hotel in Eilat.

2 DAY:

You wil visit beautiful Petra, full day in Jordan. Overnight in hotel in Eilat. 

3 DAY:

Travelling to see beautiful Saint Catherine Monastery and Mount Sinai.

4 DAY:

Leisure in Eilat! You will have free and relaxing time in Eilat, will explore the city and everything it offers. Evening time flight back from Eilat to Sde Dov airport in Tel Aviv.

Masada and Dead Sea Tour:

On the way you can view the inn of the Good Samaritan. We will stop to look out across the desert as we pass the point marking "sea level".

The ancient city of Jericho can be seen in the distance where Joshua's troops caused the walls to fall (Joshua 6) and where Jesus healed the blind (Mark 10:46-52).

Arriving at Masada, we ascend the mountain by cable car, to tour the 2000-year old palace built by King Herod. Herod had built a swimming pool, water cisterns, two palaces, store rooms and even a synagogue.

It was here that the Jews came to defy the Romans and in this remote spot are reported to have committed mass suicide in defiance after a long and drawn-out siege by the Roman army.We will take you through the important archeological sites bringing this dramatic historical moment to life for you.

We leave Masada and head out to the Dead Sea. The tour concludes with time to enjoy basking in the sun at the beach or floating in the mineral-rich Dead Sea, located at the lowest place on earth (400m below sea level).

You can also cover yourself from head to toe in the natural Dead Sea mud, which has unique therapeutic qualities and will leave your skin feeling soft and fresh. . And don't worry if you don't know how to swim, the high salt content will keep you afloat.

Petra from Eilat:

"Arava" crossing border, issuing visa on arrival to Jordan. Please note this process may take some time.

Arrival to Petra ,guided tour in the pink heritage city.

Lunch at local restaurant.

Drive back to Aquaba, if we will have time, will have there short tour.

"Arava" border pass, crossing border to Israel.

Drop back in your hotel.

Saint Catherina Sinai:

From Taba we will be crossing the border to Sinai. Bus drive along Red Sea, beautiful views you can picture forever.

Will continue to Saint Catherine's Monastery at the foot of Mount Sinai where Moses received the tablets of the law - Torah.

It's built between 548 and 565, the monastery is one of the oldest working Christian monasteries in the world.

Although it is commonly known as Saint Catherine's, the monastery's full official name is the Sacred Monastery of the God-Trodden Mount Sinai. The patronal feast of the monastery is the Transfiguration. The monastery has become a favorite site of pilgrimage.

After lunch we return to Taba.

Day of leisure in Eilat and return flight to Tel Aviv.
